I think this 'interview' shows just exactly how disconnected they are. It's just regurgitated crap from the fans meeting. They are a complete joke - Murray included.
None of 'the mob' wanted to hear from them anyway and nothing they would or could have said would have been received with anything but scepticism, bad humour and more spittle.
Seems like they have wound a few people up (again), which might have been their aim (again).
I assume from that interview that Lookman is staying along with all our other players including Watt as they now realise they need a bigger squad.
When we sell them both (or either of them) this interview can be a point from which we question them. "You came out and said you'd underestimated the Championship and that we needed more quality players, why then did you sell our best two strikers 2 weeks later?"
I don't think this is the statement, it would be ludicrous if KF's press day was moved for this, unless of course they were worried about the questions going to be asked :-)
Jokingly tweeted the above this morning and don't feel I was far from the truth. Very disappointed. Suspect something else may follow, but again the message has been handled really poorly.
Or we could wait and see. Roland could turn up to the presser himself, with Meire's and Fraeye's heads on a platter and a newly-signed Wesley Sneijder in tow, and someone would complain about us signing past-it players

Thanks for the 'candid' answers to questions you asked yourself Richard...
'Ooh, I don't feel like working today, can I just stay in bed?' 'Ooh, don't know, better ask the boss.' 'David can I stay in bed all day?' 'Yes you can David.' Both me, that's not me in bed with another bloke called David.'
We have put a little too much faith in our overseas players to suddenly come in and play 46 games a year.
With this one:
It could have been better but you also can’t legislate for injuries to some of our key players like Stephen Henderson, Igor Vetokele and Ahmed Kashi.
So the problem is that you cannot expect foreign players to play 46 games a year but, then again you, cannot foresee that these foreign players will get injured due to the demands of the Championship. He has completely contradicted himself within the space of two paragraphs!
What this whole episode shows is that our owner is either clueless or incompetent and neither of these is good for our football club.
The protests were fantastic and were picked up all over the media; on Talksport, national newspapers, 606, the Guardian Football Weekly podcast and by James Cordon. We have to keep going but I'm wondering how we can keep it fresh because if we always do the same thing the press will get bored of it. We should organise another bit of co-ordinated action again on a specific date next month that is different again, that is how we keep our cause going and continue to embarrass the owner.
Errors? Fucking errors? These errors got us relegated, and are doing a good job of continuing to do that this season too. An error is photocopying in A3 rather than A4, this is a shambles you absolute muppet.
He had the fans a couple of years ago thinking he was some sort of hero and most were happy to see him kept on, since then he has betrayed long time members of staff, he has betrayed Chris Powell and has lied to each and every one of us. He was kept on to soften fans, to be the face we can trust and keep us sweet. His job is now untenable as he has lost the trust of everyone. In actual fact now I'm doubting that he ever gave a damn about us or was it always an ulterior motive deep down? The sooner him and the puppeteers have gone the better.
Keep protesting WE ARE CHARLTON, SUPER CHARLTON! WE ARE CHARLTON, WE DONT NEED THEM!
It seems to me that this 'statement' was aimed more at the press than fans. The club have been taking flak from just about every media outlet and on the face of it, this statement may look positive to the average journo. This might be their way of relieving some of the pressure that's on the club right now.
RM says the owner running down the club defies logic. His whole statement defies logic. Words cannot express the anticlimax of it all. This cements the fact there is no real ambition with the club. You have to have some risk get any reward. We are going nowhere fast.

A bit short FFS

Takes a player a year to adapt and then we loan them to Cardiff!
The interview came across in a way that they are surprised supporters are pissed off as they have spent money.
What about the protest's?
What about the manager?
What about the customer comment?
Disgrace!
