Of course not, but you can say after a few months "We thank Karel Fraeye for his time as interim head coach, as intended he did a superb job whilst we decided on a permanent replacement.".

Sad because I think its true, was a very clever way of avoiding another depressing statistic regarding the number of managers we get through..
