Thank you to the poster (no user name) who donated their refunded Huddersfield ticket money, made me laugh.
And to person with initials A.C. I like to let people know I've received it but if no user name I cant acknowledge. And no its not that AC.
Although they might not be Charlton Life users anyway.
£4804 this morning.
Thanks everyone.

Great response to the protest fund appeal so far, fellow addicks. Thank you to all.
It would be great to push it over £5000 today. Can we do it?0 -
Thank you to the person with initials DG.
Okay.... we currently stand at £4914 meaning we received over £100 in 50 mins.
I'm sure it will easily go over the £5,000 mark today.

It's going to be exciting when the fund goes down as well as up.
Fluctuation is good.0 -
Just to let everyone know that the Protest Funds are currently at £5,238. So we smashed £5,000 yesterday.
I received money for the scarves yesterday, Ben.
This money will be put to use over the next few weeks but there will be plenty left to keep protests on going.
Thank you to everyone that has donated.

Yes it is, but we will report the total donations received on a regular basis on here and then, periodically, how much has been spent and on what, and the current balance. Hopefully, we will be able to show photos of what the fund (i.e. YOUR donations) has paid for.seth plum said:It's going to be exciting when the fund goes down as well as up.

Erm, is this a good time?
If you haven't yet, and you can..........please support the protest fund.
In 13 days we (that is, everyone who has chipped in so far) have raised almost £5500 - and we have already approved expenditure of about £900 to support protest initiatives. You'll see the tangible results of that soon.

How about t-shirts made all standing together makes huge banner like Roland out and we Want our Charlton back.
T shirts with big bold individual letters given to people in order next to each other but scattered groups around all the stands.0 -
I thought exactly the same thing yesterday. We could have a living banner and if we are creative have a number of anagrams (assuming people on the front of the Cupboard End Upper don't mind shuffling their seats).sadiejane1981 said:How about t-shirts made all standing together makes huge banner like Roland out and we Want our Charlton back.

Can you all make a drum roll sound in your heads..........
...We've broken through £6000!
Total donations now £6069. Many thanks to everyone who has donated so far - in fact, several people have put in twice now, which is absolutely fantastic.
Pay day this week, so we're hoping for another surge by this time next week
So, what the hell have me and @Curb_It been doing with YOUR money? You've probably seen a lot of it on the protest coverage from Saturday, but by way of a summary, YOU have paid for......... :
..... 7,000 of these leaflets
..... these two banners
..... this megaphone (though we might need a bigger one next time!)
.....1,000 of these beermats (available for closer inspection at @Curb_It authorised local hostelries)
..... 10,000 of these stickers
There is also some clever internet based stuff under way which I will update you on when I can.
So far we have spent or committed to spend a total of £1,358.
Much, much more to come.
