If you're going to change the name of the thread to take advantage of the same phrase repeated over and over again (on one thread in one forum - really don't think it'll affect Google), then you might want to spell the name correctly.
Katrine Meire (whoever she is) might be alright at her job.

Sorry, you are quite right. I did that to better reflect the subject of the thread and make it's contents quite clear for members and guests alike. Autocorrect rather cheekily changed it to "Latrine", and so down the gentlemanly thing, I re-corrected it, but subsequently got it wrong.
Fixed now and we can, once again, all bask in the light of a perfectly functioning community forum where all "I's" are dotted and all "T's" are crossed and all errors are quickly auto-corrected, whether by algorithm, or collective human intelligence.
Much as I think KM is dreadful and feel the club dying just a little bit more with every ridiculous statement she makes, I don't see her resigning making any difference so long as RD remains in charge. It's ultimately the owner that's the problem and whoever is CEO we'll just get the same old bullshit...
We need a mole inside the club to try to get some feedback on how the mood is. Is she rattled, pissed off, ready to stand down or just pretending that nothing happened?
I think we are in for a long and emotionally draining battle. RD is nothing if not stubborn. I don't think he will pay another salary to make KM's life a little more bearable by placing a 'flak catcher' in front of her, it's not part of the 'changing the football landscape' scenario - costs, especially for staff (playing or otherwise) will need to be kept to an absolute minimum. He'll let her suffer before collecting her fairly meagre (compared to other Championship CEOs) stipend. As others have said her inabilities has exposed her. She is trained in Law but not in running a business. Her analogies comparing supporters to cinema goers and diners at restaurant confirms a profound ignorance of the marketplace within which her company operates, this might have been forgiven after one month in office but she is now celebrating 24 months as our CEO and it's unforgivable, as is her continual references to RD as 'The Shareholder'. RD has probably employed her cheaply on a personal vanity project and she's lapping up all of the attention because she's a 'woman in power in football, traditionally a male stronghold' and enjoying all the predictable equal opps plaudits that go with it (this isn't deriding equal opportunities merely an observation of our situation.) She'll either wise up and leave once the stakes are raised or RD will position another stooge in her place when he thinks its politically expedient, who knows when. Where does all of that leave us? I think that the only way we'll make any sort of impression is by refusing to renew our season tickets. My family and I have had the same seats since 1994 but I'm unlikely to renew next season as a protest. If all do likewise then they won't be able to budget for the year and it will be hugely detrimental. If he's vindictive, as he might well be then RD might play hardball and respond by sending the club into major decline but somehow I think his fondness of the Euro will prevail and he'll try and dispose of the club. Its a gamble but probably the only way of hurting the club in a significant enough way to ensure that they review their 'changing the football landscape' scenario. So we will have to confront this issue but the sooner the better because if they get wind of this intention (and it is supported by enough 'customers') then even an obstinate fuck like RD will appreciate that he has no future at our Club. If people do support this I would suggest that we also boycott a game this season either by attending at half time or departing at half time. As a gesture to the players we can sing like mad for whichever half we attend and then apologise to them but let them know that we must leave for the long term benefit of the Club and although they won't be in a position to acknowledge I'm sure that the majority of players would privately support us. Like many on here I remember the years at Palarse and Upton Park. I would never want our Club to have to confront such times again but we must do something to rid ourselves of the present owner. The previous regime were awful but somehow I could identify (not sympathise) with their objectives which was (once KC departed) to minimise their losses. They were pathetic but somehow tolerable, they had no money which is a common problem with a lot of clubs. Instead the present owner has some deluded vision to provide us with some 'product' where we can watch the 'stars of the future' before selling the youngsters to the EPL! That's not a future I want to subscribe to and I'd rather we were languishing in the Conference, with players who wore the shirt with pride than becoming a nursery for trainee starlets. The arrogance and stupidity of such a vision disgusts me and therefore I'm prepared to take some drastic action. Lets pick a match where we all boycott buying a programme. Lets pick a match where we all boycott the catering facilities. Let's boycott the Club Shop. Let's then pick a match where we walk out/walk in late but support the team. Remember KM has told her fan club Ireland that our ticket revenue only amounts to 30% so we are unimportant. Lets really try and hurt them in their pockets, its difficult I know as many might regard this as a betrayal but after a honeymoon period I now despise the current owners. What do you Guys think?

This.
I hope she's showing true colours. Imagine her to behave and work like a teenage spoilt brat with tantrum.
She clearly refuses to come out of the bunker, sending a man she believes the fans still listen to and like to spout the party line. She is such a coward she won't even face up to the consequences of what she has done.
I repeat, in the first programme of the season she says:
'from a personal point of view, I realise that from now on there's no one to hide behind any more'.
Apart from Richard Murray, and the sofa, and absurd statements, and the noise of house music, or the blinds lowered in the Directors Lounge, or a portcullis made out of fourteen chips.
The phrase which gave me, probably fruitless, hope in the RM interstatementview was that they realise they need to communicate better with fans and the Board are taking certain steps to achieve that.
I have two suggested steps:
Step 1) replace KF Step 2) replace KM
I think if we follow the two step plan, although we don't like RD, he isn't the worst owner in the world and if replacements for 1) and 2) were good, and the team started to do better, the protests would become less strong.

It is almost as if you have only bought the first programme of the season.
I have been told that Katrien Meire is out of her depth, and is certainly not suitable to be an executive. I wasn't sure whether to believe that Katrien Meire is out of her depth, and is certainly not suitable to be an executive, but I am persuaded by the many times I have heard that Katrien Meire is out of her depth, and is certainly not suitable to be an executive. Thus, it does actually seem that Katrien Meire is out of her depth, and is certainly not suitable to be an executive.
So if I write Katrien Meire, out of her depth and not suitable to be an executive enough times, that helps?
I'm pretty certain that if you kept writing "Katrien Meire is out of her depth, and is certainly not suitable to be an executive" then there's a good chance of it becoming quite common on when you searched for "Katrien Meire".
I agree, it's terrible that anyone should post the fact that "Katrien Meire is out of her depth, and is certainly not suitable to be an executive" . And I too will not condone needlessly writing "Katrien Meire is out of her depth, and is certainly not suitable to be an executive" for any reason..
I mean, writing "Katrien Meire is out of her depth, and is certainly not suitable to be an executive" surely can't achieve anything?
Constantly writing Katrien Meire is out of her depth, and is certainly not suitable to be an executive could be considered to be bullying. Please everyone stop writing Katrien Meire is out of her depth, and is certainly not suitable to be an executive.
I think Ms Meire has that unfortunate combination of ruthless ambition and limited competence!
This plus I think she has been incredibly lucky. After all the recent gaffes and inability to understand the business she is in, she would have been sacked in most normal environments so in my opinion Katrien Meire is out of her depth and is certainly not suitable to be an executive. That may not be a view she shares, but most people who have been of the receiving end of her managerial abilities seem to be of the opinion that Katrien Meire is out of her depth and is certainly not suitable to be an executive. And RD is an owner who cares nothing for this football club or its supporters. He does not care whether we win, that is irrelevant to him mostly because this is club is now a factory for young players. It is all just about him. That is why he has to go. Or this club is finished as a proper football club.
I'm not sure writing that 'Katrien Meire is out of her depth, and is certainly not suitable to be an executive', is right. 'Katrien Meire is out of her depth and is certainly not suitable to be an executive', might be slightly better. 'Katrien Meire is out of her depth and is certainly not suitable to be an executive' doesn't need the comma before the 'and'. I'll Google it a few times to double-check.
Sorry if I have missed this among all the thrills of an FA Cup Saturday, but was that appalling woman and her puppet Murray on show today? I do hope so.

What do you Guys think?
I hope she's showing true colours. Imagine her to behave and work like a teenage spoilt brat with tantrum.
We have a winner!!
:-)
I can imagine comms team saying "you sure you want to run with this"
Richard - Its ok the fans trust and like me
KM - Yes run with it guys, the fans will be fine once they see this.
Roland - Who is this Richard Murray guy?
'from a personal point of view, I realise that from now on there's no one to hide behind any more'.

If I were him, that's what I would do.
Can't see it happening though
Join the nice and weird club.
We all crack in the end
I think she's probably in some way loving the attention of these protests, whether good or bad press it's all good.
So her next move... Or possible reason for her silence, she's getting prepped up about to enter big brother...
Ought that to be in italics or bold?
