Guys, there is a advertising board on the side of the shop at the top of Floyd Road (Charlton Cars). KM would be unable to avoid it on her walk from the station to The Valley.
I couldn't make it yesterday, it was my ex's week with the season tickets as well. I have had the boy today, he is 5. He has been singing all day 'I'm Charlton till I die, Charlton till I die, you know I am, it's clear I am, I'm Charlton till I die.'
Thanks for sharing, this gives me goose bumps watching it. A real ''I was there' moment. Great passion that most normal businesses would engage with and harness to mutual benefit, not alienate.
He was more than happy that so many people have appreciated it! It's called 'Charlton Protest 2/1/2016'on YouTube by Chris Winterman, a life long addick .
The person I'm aware of best placed to investigate the feasibility and cost of securing the space is @DamoNorthStand.
Things may have changed but at the time of the Valley Party billboards were normally rented for a calendar month
For design, I'd nominate @Stig to do a brilliant job
Production; again things have changed in 25 years, hopefully someone with relevant experience will come forward.
It won't be cheap. The Valley Party billboard design and production were financed by a rich advertising agency, which also persuaded the billboard space owners that our campaign was a "charity".
Lighting projections could be an extra option and surely cheaper.
Not sure how you'd do it but imagine it would be pretty simple to project images and protest slogans onto the valley temporarily etc which would be very effective at night games. Bit like the ones people put on parliament.
Wouldn't have a clue where to start with it but sure some techies on here would have an idea.
It's not cheap to do unless you own the equipment, I am working with a company over the next few weeks who may be able to loam me the equipment to do it, I can not at this stage promise anything more than I will ask the questions and see if I can either loan theirs or get put in touch with a company who will provide me what we need
="Quote" rel="Algarveaddick">Just listened to all the phone calls, well done all and fair play to Collymore - he was genuinely passionate and wound up by it, clearly.
Ditto, Algarveaddick.
Thought all our callers stated clearly our problems with the current regime although maybe another time, also hone in on their comments regarding winning games & show casing young stars of the future before they're sold on to Prem Clubs.
To my mind, this is a further indication of the mind set of RD/KM and sets our Club apart from ALL the others ...
Oh and the suggestion that RD's plans to reshape our future will be replicated by other non EPL clubs as this is the "only "way forward...( or words to that effect.
That alone should make other owners & Chairmen sit up & take notice.
Onwards & upwards for the BOGOF campaign
( "Buy" one, get one free as with RD & his disciple)

Hard to tell, couple of thousand maybe? Definitely four figures anyway.
I wandered round at the final whistle and it looked like everyone from the West Stand, including those with B&W scarves, was leaving. For a moment I thought the protest had been called off. Anyway, I hung around for 45 minutes (I know, lightweight) and was astonished at the size of the crowd I had to get through by that time. Fantastic demonstration of solidarity.
All this talk about posters reminds me there were some great ones drawn up by someone, whose name I sadly can't remember, based on the old "return to the Valley ones". (I hope the artist will please step forward to take the plaudits).
I think these are great. Worth considering for display on a poster site?
Don't know if this hits the mark, but I've had a bit of a play with it late last night. Started with Untenable, which is an idea I've had in mind, but when I heard Airman use the word in his interview it reinforced the strength in the message. I added Danny Kelly's "The peasants are at the gate" as I thought that was also brilliant. Not sure if I've mixed the messages though now.
It'd be interesting if we draw away at Colchester in the FA Cup meaning a replay at The Valley.
Season Ticket holders around the ground would then be able to get themselves West Lower tickets and really go to town on RM, KM etc
I sit the row just below the director's seating area. My anger when Forest scored y'day resulted in me turning to her and shouting something about getting another f****** sofa. Just angry words that come out in the heat of the moment.
She's flanked by security now which I don't really have a problem with. I expect if results continue to be poor between now and Blackburn she won't take her seat toward the front. I see absolutely nothing wrong with her bearing the brunt of our frustration though. She is after all RD's trusted right hand woman
KM's gender should have no significance, she is the Chief Exec and as such deserves all the legal protest that is aimed in her direction, be it one peasant or many.
Comments
A. The charlton fans have a full squad to pick from and people in all positions to leave their mark on this Club.
Try and get that at a restaurant wierdos.
The Katrien Rocky horror Charlton show.
Before the 5pm performance in front of thousands.
Is that the first time a cinema manager has ever been chanted at ?

I prefer FUKOF rather than BOGOF
Free Us Katrien Or Fail
Could be seen from the boardroom and would add to the visual side of the protests
Someone's screwing our club
