Fox - 6 I don't understand some of you. Kept Henry, a player that we almost signed, out of the game for the whole of the first half. Without much support from Lookman in front of him. Played a very clever free kick into Lookman, in space in the area in the first half. It is remarkable, that so many of you are critical of his distribution, but think Solly is some sort of Beckham-esque sort of figure. Should not be taking corners, I agree, but no one in this team can cross worth diddly anyway.
Reza - 5 Huffed and puffed without any great end product. I didn't understand his substitution, as he was the most hard working of all the attacking players in the team.
Ba - 6.5 MOTM Covered every blade of grass. Often last line of defence as he stayed back to cover from all corners. Despite what some of you are saying, hit the pass of the game out to the left wing in the 2nd half, between 2 Wolves players. Broke up attacks, and ran through a number of challenges to keep driving Charlton forward.
Jackson - 5 Game too far for the skipper over the Christmas period? Wears his Hart on his sleeve, and loved the bit where he and Solly went on a gang tackling rampage late on. Should take more responsibility for dead ball situations, as skipper though. Struggled to impose himself in a midfield that was constantly under pressure.
Lookman - 5 Struggled to make an impact. You have to consider where he has come from, and his age. Concentration is a very severe problem. Lost the ball in the first half, and just watched a Wolves counter attack. In the East Stand, we heard Jacko shouting "Ade! ", to bring him back down to doing his job. We need to persist with him though, and give him the scope to play the way that he can.
Vaz Te - 3 His worst game in a Charlton shirt. By a country mile. Poor control, and poor passing. At one time, in the second half, looked to be Wolves most potent attacking threat, when dropping deep to "help out" the defence. Gave away the ball too many times to count.
Ahearne Grant - 0 I have never given a Charlton player a zero before, and hope I never have to again. Not that he did anything wrong, but didn't do anything, full stop. In effect, Charlton were playing with 10 men...
Makienok - 5 Won headers, only for everyone else to be standing around, WATCHING him win headers. Wolves were able to put 2 men on him, knowing that the total lack of desire from the rest of the team, meant that even if he won the ball, they would be able to win the ball back anyway...
