As crazy as this may sound I saw enough quality in the Leeds match to see a few positives. Starting with Bolton tonight, 3 points on the board and a good holiday period run-maybe just maybe we might sneak in the back door to the play-offs. Stranger things have happened.

But a lot of "ifs" in there.
The basic problems would still exist. A management hierarchy with no true affection for the club, apathy towards the supporters, unsuitable players and no manager with experience to succeed in the Championship.
We score less than one goal per game and concede over 1.5, we rarely get any points if we go behind, struggle to hold on to any size of lead, and there looks to be 6 teams in the fight to beat the drop.
Our small squad is badly hit with injuries, and any loan players could take time to make an impact.
Prepare for League One.
10/10 for optimism and positivity and i mean that too... but come on, lets be realistic.
The likely back four tonight, Solly,Sarr,Lennon and THD have, with he exception of Solly, virtually no Championship experience. With Vaz Te probably out, whichever front 2 we use will have only a handful of Championship goals between them.
There are too many gaps I am afraid, the product of a poor recruitment policy over a long time.
I once did the Great South Run (a 10-mile race in Portsmouth), traveled back afterwards and played Football on the Wednesday yet could barely run, yes I didn't have helpers around me that these Footballers do but they can only help so much.
