Lennon - 7 MOTM. I've shown some generosity for a young man making his Valley debut, but I thought he looked calm and confident. Comfortable on the ball, and refused to be out muscled by a physical Leeds team. A very pleasing debut.
Holmes Dennis - 7 Cautious 1st half, but a storming second. Lost count of the number of attacks he initiated in the 2nd half with his pace and anticipation. Great to see a full back with genuine pace, to get him out of trouble, or to bother the opposition defence.
Berg Gudmundsson - 5.5 a very, very m'eh performance. His body language stinks, and does not get involved any where near enough.
Cousins - 6.5 The best of the midfield. Showed great energy at the end when we were under the cosh. A number of driving runs forward terminated by cynical fouls, including one acknowledged by Leeds players as "taking one for the team".
Jackson - 6 The skipper ran out if steam, but his influence as a cajoling, leadership figure is hard to quantify. One absolute barn storming run in the 2nd half.
Lookman - 7 Let's make this absolutely clear. The most dangerous, and skilful player on the park. Scares the life out of defenders with his direct running. I like his "shoot on sight" attitude. Sure, some of his decisions may be wrong, but he is only 18! A little gem. Who needs Tony Watt?
Vaz Te - 6.5 The ticking heart of our high energy pressing game. Great strength when holding up the ball. Needs games desperately to improve his fitness, as he was running on empty after 60 minutes, but looking a good acquisition.
Reza - 6.5 Not his best game, but his work rate is outstanding. Made himself an essential part of this team. I would really like him to get a good run in the team now. The chance he set up in the 1st half deserved a goal...
