I didn't see but can I assume Northants put us into bat?

Thanks. Wicket isn't going to get any better. Need to get them out fairly cheap.
  • Is it time for my final rain dance of the season ?

Save that for when Essex are playing next week - need a wash out.

oh well - looks like no need for me to have divided loyalties last game of the season.

    150-1 at lunch

Farnborough born England prospect Duckett (79*) doing the damage. Some people really don't know where their allegiances truly lie!

Kent 7-2 in the second innings D B-D and Dickson both gone.

Still 147 needed to make Northamptonshire bat again.

Make that 7-3. Denly gone too! He has a pair.

    Oh no!!!!
  • Lol - sport.
  • Duckett made 208 out of 384 opening the batting, apart from Wakely who made 73, nobody else got above 18!

    Kent 15-4, all to Kleinveldt...
  • Donning my wellies now......
  • Billings left out of the England team. A double century tomorrow will do Sam, no pressure lad

Please don't mention Duckett again. Len will get the hump with you.

Anyway, did you know that he was born in Farnborough? Just to be clear that's Farnborough, Kent not Farnborough, Hants.
  • David Gower was born in Tunbridge Wells and Wally Hammond in Dover.
    Get over it!

Your Dad didn't mention Brian Rose who was born in Dartford. And what about that other great cricketer Mick Jagger? Or David Frost for that matter?

I could go on......if you really really want me to!

    Billings out for 39.

    This won't last the day.
  • 113-7 at lunch. Still 41 behind and all is, effectively (if it wasn't already), lost.

    Billings out for 39.
