Solly - 6 tried to keep the defence together but he just couldn't at the end
Bauer - 5 that sending off ultimately changed the game. He was solid up until then.
Sarr - 5.5 some dodgey defending but it was always going to be a challenge with a CB missing. Some good blocks though.
Fox - 4 the better LB was sitting on the bench. He got skinned every time down the wing.
Diarra - 7 put Fox to shame when tracking back.
Berg Gudmundsson - 6.5 unfortunately got injured but done well first half. Second not so well.
Cousins - 7 was an engine in midfield and just didn't stop.
Reza - 6 really tried hard. His link up play in the first half was great. Ran out of steam though by the 60th minute.
Vaz Te - 6 same as Reza.
Lookman - 8 our best player on the pitch. Was not afraid. Their right back tried to bully him and he gave it back.
Ba - 6 not great
Lennon n/a was solid before he went off. Could barely stand up.

Sarr - 5 Sometimes decent but has spells where he looks out of his depth.
Fox - 5 Had a poor game, ruined a few decent moves in the 1st half. Skinned several times in the second.
Diarra - 6 Strong, won a lot in the air, but eventually tired. Gave away the ball for one of their goals.
Berg Gudmundsson - 5 went off after an almost entirely anonymous second half.
Cousins - 7 Non-stop effort. Came dangerously close to a second yellow several times.
Reza - 7 Never stopped pressing and won a surprising amount of high balls. Sadly no runners to pick them up in the 2nd.
Vaz Te - 6 Very tidy, looks like he'll be decent for us. Knackered after 35 mins.
Lookman - 9 What an excellent player. Endless energy and bottle.
Ba - 4 The opposite of Lookman. Absolutely no point bringing Ba on in a backs to the wall situation. Just watched on bemused as Reza would close down and pester their GK and back four.

Solly - 7 Not a bad game
Bauer - 6 Would have been a 9 but for the sending off which changed the game for the worse.
Sarr - 6 Did well first half but struggled in the second like everyone else.
Fox - 4 Awful. March had him beat every time. Brighton could see he was a weak link and exploited it
Diarra - 7 Worked his socks off and was great first half. Unfortunately his mistake led to their first goal.
Berg Gudmundsson - 5 Didn't appear to contribute anything, especially second half.
Cousins - 7 Worked hard as normal but seems to lack the quality needed to stand out at this level.
Reza - 8 Good work rate and won some headers in the second half that he had no right to win. Shame nobody else was on the same wavelength. Good to see him urging players to get forward towards the end.
Vaz Te - 7 Like most of the others had a great first half. Seemed to tire late on.
Lookman - 8 Brilliant first half but got a bit bogged down. Needed to try something different in the second. Worked so hard too.
Ba - 5 Didn't even realise he was on the pitch to be honest!

Solly - 7.5 - more like the solly of old. Tenacious and stopped a lot of crosses.
Bauer - 5 - poor defensively for the first and awful positioning for his red
Sarr - 5 - our worst centre back.
Fox - 4 - came up against a very good opponent in Solly March. He is out of his depth at this level. God knows why THD is not ahead of him.
Diarra - 6 - lost possession for the first goal badly. very good in the first half.
JBG - 7 - involved in our brilliant attacking play in the first half. the 4 forward players were great. Should have got one to make it 3-0 but it was stuck under his feet a little and a good save.
Cousins - 5 - I still don't get what he offers in terms of quality. Would love to see kashi back.
Reza - 8 - Brilliant. Bundles of energy, great link up play in the first half, deserves his place in the team now.
Vaz Te - 7.5 - super link up play and definitely gives us another dimension. He is not fit though and tired massively in the second half.
Lookman - 8 (MOM) - WOW. He was electric in the first half. Absolutely roasted a good right back in Bruno. Great goal and a constant threat. Good defensive cover for fox as well. His first half was one of them "i was there for the first half at brighton" type of performances, the first 5 minutes were outrageous. A shame things changed second half and he didn't get the ball - otherwise his mark would be higher than 8.
Ba - doesn't warrant a place in the team.
Lennon - was pretty solid until his head injury.
