Someone has to break the cycle and it won't be Roland...

edited November 2015 in General Charlton
2013/14: Powell is sacked, Kermorgant and others are sold. Charlton fans are unhappy with Roland for bringing in an unknown manager, a string of results keeps us up and keeps the fans quiet.

2014/15: Starts well but the season loses momentum and Peeters is sacked. Charlton fans are unhappy with lack of investment in the squad and appointment of Guy Luzon, fears of relegation. Talks of protests begin, chants of "you don't know what you're doing" but a string of results keeps us safe and the fans relent.

2015/16: Poor first 15 games to the season, Lack of investment in the summer and Luzon is sacked. Fans again unhappy with the appointment of an unknown manager and the uncertainty around the future of the club...............

Can you see a pattern? Just because we won today, and no matter how many wins we rack up in the future, we cannot be taking a back seat again. Or this cycle will be repeated at least every 9-12 months and without any stability, our club can only go one way.
