Ba - 7 disappointed to see ba on the team sheet as had given the ball away in the games I've seen him very poorly. Today seemed more composed, again am going with the change of formation and Diarra in midfield for his improved score/performance
Diarra - 9 Man of the Match and coaxed better performances out of many of the team. Given this is his best position for France, why haven't we played him here before and well done to whoever made that decision, probably won us the game.
Jackson - 6.5 gets an extra point for the goal but loses a point for losing a couple of slowish players for pace, great positioning for the first goal and I may have been a bit harsh theare
JBG - 8 live wire all over the pitch, good to see him more central and is class. Hit the top of the bar was best free kick but created trouble throughout the game.
Makienok - 7 nice to see him score 1, he does get some flick ins but often into space or to the oppo. Terrible decision to try to back heel or whatever it was rather than take what looked like easier to score a second. Would rather have home in the pitch blindfolded than tony watt at the minute

Holmes-Dennis - 6 looked good but from where we were didn't see enough to rate higher
Bauer - 7 disappointed to read he had not been immense in recent games that u couldn't make but today looked back to very solid business as usual. Is he only 22?
Sarr - 7 ok wow, never seen him look anything other than super shaky before today and today looked like a proper CD. Probably helped out by Diarra being just ahead but had loads more confidence and thank goodness.
Fox - 5 and that includes extra credit for the assist. 'Come on fox', 'Morgan, do you play for Wales' etc were all to common for us as he screwed up touch after touch. Must try less hard and just do better
Ba - 7 disappointed to see ba on the team sheet as had given the ball away in the games I've seen him very poorly. Today seemed more composed, again am going with the change of formation and Diarra in midfield for his improved score/performance
Diarra - 9 Man of the Match and coaxed better performances out of many of the team. Given this is his best position for France, why haven't we played him here before and well done to whoever made that decision, probably won us the game.
Jackson - 6.5 gets an extra point for the goal but loses a point for losing a couple of slowish players for pace, great positioning for the first goal and I may have been a bit harsh theare
JBG - 8 live wire all over the pitch, good to see him more central and is class. Hit the top of the bar was best free kick but created trouble throughout the game.
Makienok - 7 nice to see him score 1, he does get some flick ins but often into space or to the oppo. Terrible decision to try to back heel or whatever it was rather than take what looked like easier to score a second. Would rather have home in the pitch blindfolded than tony watt at the minute
Reza - 6 busy, looked OK, stuffed things up a few times but overall and he scored. I've maybe stuffed him a bit on that rating
Moussa - can't say I really noticed him too much
Lookman - wow he is tiny, but like seeing Michael Jackson in the Jackson 5, real talent

Bauer - 6, poorest game I've seen from him, lost virtually every ball in the air
Sarr - 7, played on the limits mostly to gooe effect until their goal
Fox - 6, the arseholes behind me gave him stick all game, but made several important blocks and laid off 3rd goal - undoubtedly guilty of several "agricultural" clearances
Ba - 6, so frustrating, was fantastic in bits but give him time on the ball and he's a liability
Diarra - 8, ran out of steam in last 20 but a great all round performance
Jackson - 7, plus 1 for goal, battled hard
Berg Gudmundsson - 8, free role suits him well but too one-footed
Makienok - 8.5, won everything in the air and linked well most of the game, struggling with game fitness
Reza - 6.5, glad he got the goal - his chasing down was good, but the reality (today) was that he was less effective as a striker
