    Think this photo was taken at Stamford Bridge after drawing 1-1 with Aston Vllia in the Alexander Cup Final north v south game in may 1944 ,guy with the dog tags around his neck could well be Jack Shreeve.2nd on right

    100% Its the war time cup final against Chelsea 15 april 1944 Charlton won 3-1 played at Wembley.In Sam Bartram,s
    book from the charlton athletic collection picture of Don Welsh holding this cup.Wording against photo states Burnley in war time cup final but is incorrect as we played in white shirts that day against Burnley in 1947.
    If I FIND ANY OTHER PHOTOS 15 APRIL 1944 will come back to you.

    Sorry not Aston Villa and Stamford Bridge ,minds playing tricks.
