In the 60`s when I first fell in love with cricket he was just one of the best county players. In those days the BBc civered county cricket and the one day stuff and so got to see a lot of him, he was just so elegant as a batsman.
Then went onto be a good commentator as well. Even though we know it comes to us all it still sad, RIP.0
