Charlton to put out 5 a side team in the league

Following the Interim Coach's observation that you only need 11 players Katrin Meire has announced that from now on Charlton will put out a 5 a side team in the League.
Meire said 'Obviously if you have 11 players then 6 of them will always be injured, so we will play 5. This will cut the wage cost and also ensure big crowds and lots of television coverage, as the English love an underdog.' Goalposts will be replaced by jumpers to save the cost of the wood.

Interim Coach Fraeye explained how the 5 will line up, 'We will have a rush goalie between the two backs, one all action midfielder like Johnny Jackson and a highly mobile striker like Makionek.'

Questioned about the likelihood of winning any games with this line-up Fraeye said that winning was not part of his brief and that he was sure that everybody would be smiling when they watched the 5 a side team play.

Roland Duchatelet when questioned said nothing.
