I think I'm going to totally ignore all football on Saturday, spend the day with the kids and take them trick or treating.
Will have a look at the score later on in the evening, but I've totally lost interest at the moment - will of course be there at the Sheff Wed game (more to have a pint with my mates)
there could not be much of a harder task facing the club than an away game at Middlesbrough .. and I won't be judging the new regime on the result of one difficult game UNLESS it looks as though the players just gave it away, and that I won't forgive as championship footballers are very well paid to do a job and to give their best no matter who is their manager and no matter what their feelings are about the state of the organisation. I was not planning to go to this game as it clashes with a lot of things I have to do this weekend. BUT as it could be the start of something big or the end of an era .. how can I stay away ? .. so:
A) we win _ very surprised verging on delight and astonishment B ) we draw - very pleased and surprised C) we lose - not surprised and will save my opinion depending on the team performance D) we get thrashed - as above
