    Fair play to him actually going there and giving it a go rather than doing what Shaun Wright-Philips did when we went in for him on loan.

    He was on SoccerAM last week and thought he could still do a job in the Prem, but knew it was a long shot, having been out of the public eye for so long. Still surprised that the Championship missed this completely, but Cov is, I suppose, local if he is Villa based. Good luck to him. Seemed like he just wanted to play and was looking forward to trying "walking football" when he was an old man.
