Supporters' Trust AGM - Thursday 29th October

This year's CAS Trust AGM will be at The Bugle Horn pub in Charlton Village on Thursday 29th October, starting at 7.30pm.

After the formal business of the evening is concluded there will be an assortment of delicious sandwiches and Chief Sports Correspondent at The Guardian, Owen Gibson, will take your questions on current football issues. The agenda for the evening can be found here.

We regret that the AGM clashes with Bromley Addicks' meeting on the same evening, but unfortunately this couldn't be avoided.

We hope to see you at there on the 29th October. Please note, the AGM is for CAS Trust members only, so please ensure your membership is up to date before the meeting.

  • Getting Owen Gibson there is an excellent job.

Would be good to get some insight from him on stuff other than the OS.

Yes, that's the plan. Owen is the Guardian's main guy on FIFA, was on the spot when the police roared through the lobby of the Hotel du Lac. He's well respected by the supporter organisations and football big-wigs alike, lives locally and has interviews with RD and/or KM on his to-do list.

He's also a great person to follow on Twitter.
  • From today's CAS Trust email bulletin:

A final reminder to all members that our AGM will be held at The Bugle Horn in Charlton Village on Thursday 29th October at 7.30pm.

After the formal business of the meeting there will be an opportunity to hear from Owen Gibson - Chief Sports Correspondent at The Guardian. He will answer your questions on current issues in the world of sport and offer his unique insight into some of the most high profile stories.

There will also be a chance for members to share their thoughts on the current situation at our club. What is going wrong ? Who is responsible ? Can we do anything about it ?

We look forward to seeing you next Thursday but please ensure your membership is up to date.
  • Not certain I can make it but will now try ...how long will it last, 2-3 hours?
  • Starts 7.30 with formal AGM business. Then Q&A with Guardian Sports Editor Owen Gibson then discussion re current situation - guess that will be about 9pm.

I think between 2-3, and doubtless informally til the pub closes. We will have to try and get through the formal stuff efficiently. It will be interesting to hear what Owen Gibson makes of our state. Guys like him pick up a lot of stuff from the wider football world.

    Hope to meet you there.
  • This could be an important meeting IMO.
