The Museum were very sad to learn from Gladys' son, Jim Dutton, that she had passed away peacefully earlier this week.
Gladys was the daughter of Jimmy Seed and remained a fan of Charlton and football.
She passed away not long after her daughter had sung her one of her favourite tunes "The Red, Red Robin"
This is Gladys on the pitch at the Valley in August 1996 when the stand named after her father was rededicated.

Perhaps we can get that sign updated in her memory, looks great in that pic but is a disgrace at the moment.
Not seen the sign for a while. Is it in a bad state? Something for Valley Gold or some sort of fan organisation to take on.
