What is about South East London derbies that makes the crows control so badly organised? In the grand scheme of local derbies Charlton vs Millwall/Palace are pretty low wattage. Doesn't seem that safe to kick off with crowds of people stuck outside of the ground. Surely better to delay and stop a potential crush as people try to force their way in?
