Pope - 8 I don't blame him as much as others for the goal. There were too many bodies in the way to claim, and the defence let him down badly letting the ball travel that far. A "worldly" in the second half, right up there with Deano's v Dugarry. Would be in any teams end-of-season highlights reel.
Solly - 6 Got involved in the niggly stuff a little too much. Got forward well in the first half, but with half of the Valley pitch to run into in the second, hardly got in a cross of note.

Diarra - 9 MOTM Are some still unsure about him as a centre half? Won every header, more than a few telling interceptions and tackles, and was the fulcrum in the driving attacks in the 2nd half. Outstanding, and deserves the armband.
Bauer - 8 Extra half for the goal, but not quite as dominant as in previous games. Still good though!
Gudmunsson - 6.5 I can't work out what is wrong with JBG. His body language absolutely stinks. Still looked to be the creative spark, but last year would have buried that free kick, and the other chance.
