Remember seeing him in the Full Members Cup final v Blackburn at Wembley. Always thought he was no where near as bad as portrayed by many fans, just couldn't deliver consistently for us. RIP Ralph, so sad.1

Spent an afternoon with Ralph, some years ago in Bristol, a long while after he had retired. He seemed to have to hold fond memories of his time at CAFC, and didn't appear to hold any grudges or bad feeling. Was actually quite a shy sort of guy, but even then it was clear that he wasn't in the best of health or fortune.
RIP Ralph, like others have said on here, he was a very talented player, whom we never got to see the best of.1 -
