Just having a look on twitter, looks horrendous, really hope there are no casualties.

Says over 80 fire fighters battling the blaze at the moment.

From what I can see it looks as though firefighters are still tackling it but under a lot more control than it was (I can see from my home but nowhere near as close as those in the videos)

Very much a BGS pub these days, for staff and pupils. Both my lads cut their pub teeth in there and will hope for a speedy refit.

I was in there a couple of years back for a work reunion which took about five years to organise, in the light of this the next one will probably have a vicar making a guest appearance.

Good that no one is hurt, sad news otherwise, there's enough pubs closing without this sort of calamity.
