This one is very easy, nothing to be booked in advance.
Turn up at Paddington and pay £18 for a day return, take off a 1/3 if you have a railcard.
There is a Station Bar which by all accounts is very popular, outside of here you can take the shuttle buses to the ground.
Very advisable to not take a taxi as traffic congestion will make for an expensive fare!
