The brave buggers were charging Hitler's tanks on horseback FFS when the invasion happened. And the Polish Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto were brave buggers too.
    Massive respect.

Do you know that the Poles had one of the most bizarre and endearing soldiers in military history?

It's Clapton fans storming the ground isn't it, with locals protecting it from within?

This..from a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend etc

"Eyewitnesses claim a group of around 50 people were waiting for Clapton fans to arrive before they stormed the grounds armed with bats, batons and flares."

Sounds like a bunch of numpties lying in wait for Clapton fans to me.
We all know who started it.

"Polly discreetly calls Dr. Finn. Despite his warning of "don't mention the War", Basil manages to make a reference to the war in almost every single sentence he comes up with. When one of the German guests starts crying, Basil blames the guests for starting it. When another German guest denies Basil's accusation, Basil replies, "Yes you did, youinvaded Poland!" Basil then tries to cheer the crying guest up by impersonating Adolf Hitlerand doing a Silly Walk-inspired goose-step across the room while shouting in mock German."
  • problem with the lower leagues all the banned fans from the big clubs go and support the local non league team.

How does that affect Folkestone and Clapton ?
  • Are they not in the lower leagues then?
  • Are they not in the lower leagues then?

Which 2 'big clubs' have any numbers of banned fans near these places?

    And they are Polish anyway.
  • West Ham,Arsenal, Charlton,Millwall, Any football league club is a big club compared to one in the Ryman League.

Clapton showed up with balaclavas and weapons
  • I was told, taped up full water bottles, flares and sharpened flag poles/sticks all part of the Clapton mobs armoury. They came looking for it after allegedly bullying their way around their league last season, locals got wind of their intentions in big bad thamesmead and its reputation and last night was the result.
  • Sharpened flag poles sounds a bit involved..
  • Well I guess if it was the Charlton west stand it would be sharpened walking sticks....

    Sorry I couldn't help it
  • Sounds like a load of bellends to me
  • Wot makes me piss myself is it always ends up being caused by a far right group wot about the left wing FFS they are just as bad , don't like politics never have all f--cking liars , but for me it's two mobs well planned aving a good go at each other , the way things are today just the norm .

And turning up well after kick off, a classic hoolie trick, they knew exactly what they were doing, and before its mentioned, I am not defending or condoning either side.

And yet there were still people waiting for them in the car park.

Sounds like the EDL were expecting an easy ambush and got a little bit more than they expected.
  • Battle of the Bellends by the sounds of it.
  • As I said on page 1 that the group outside had flares and bats. They were the Clapton supporters. They are massively playing on the whole 'it was the big bad far right' and claiming to be the innocent party. Which is bollocks.
  • It wasn't EDL lol

Haha no one apart from Clapton was in the car park so it wasn't a case of people waiting for them

Not true, the Clapton mob were outside the turnstiles, thamesmead were in the ground, a small number of Clapton entered the ground, made themselves known to the waiting thamesmead and were chased out and returned with their compatriots.
This is all 2nd/3rd hand info as told to me this morning, I don't know anyone who was there, maybe I would if I was told names but I haven't been. However, I would seriously ignore the EDL link, they wouldn't have the brains to organise such an ambush. 99% of the mixed hoolies from different clubs in that area that I know, (in fact most that I know) have nothing to do with the EDL and treat them accordingly. They are like annoying noisy little kid brothers to most active/serious hooligans. And anyone can chant racist language, EDL or not, all of those convicted for the Fulham train incident had nothing to do with the EDL.
  • This is a perfect example of the effect the media have

Not what the edl are saying on their own twitter accounts.

But agree with you about the EDL. All morons. Sure you agree SE9

Not doubt the legend will grow and the edl/whoever it was will have fought off 500 or a 1000 ex polish army paras armed with ak47s by the time the book comes out.

    The pornography of violence.
