In that he wants to but is being pushed out? If so if be interested in the reasons why, and the timing - given he's survived 18 months or so under the regime.
Surely B&HFC is a better career prospect for an ambitious football 'technician/coach' than CAFC .. bigger crowds, more modern stadium, ambitious owner .. one thing though .. the team was pretty awful last season
Yes but other than bigger crowds, modern stadium, ambitious owner, a berth for your boat, good schools for the kids, fresh sea air, water sports, great walks, why on earth would you want to go there ?
Why does he need somewhere to park his boat, fresh sea air and water sports when the Woolwich ferry provides all that and more on his doorstep? There's also the Thames Barrier for great riverside walks and Woolwich pubs for lively nights out, as well as Crown Woods and Corelli's College for the kids
Heard over the weekend that he has family on the south coast so maybe that's been a factor as well.
Maybe, but hardly that far is it?...... Probably have more trouble getting to North London from Sparrows Lane than down to the south coast?...... Fair enough if he wants to leave, seemed to do a decent job at CAFC, perhaps he felt he needed a fresh challenge.

What will he get at Brighton that he doesn't think he'll get here?
If there is more to it, we may never find out.
ROBERTS DEPARTS: Goalkeeping Coach Ben Roberts has today joined @OfficialBHAFC --> http://www.cafc.co.uk/news/article/charlton-brighton-hove-albion-ben-roberts-2503496.aspx … #cafc
Good luck Ben.

(Thuram probably wasn't here long enough to benefit - a four year contract might've done it!)
