Just for the record; he is 52 n.o. in his second innings. Dragging his heels this time.
  • ....and he picked up 3 wickets.

As a Sussex supporter, it's been a funny season so far. Many innings, for and against, have started disastrously and recovered. For Sussex, average runs per wicket from the last 5 wickets exceed runs from the first 5 wickets. In a similar way to young Wood of Notts, Ollie Robinson on his debut for Sussex batting a no.10 put on a record Sussex 10th wicket stand of 160-odd at Durham recently with a classic no.11, Matthew Hobden. Robinson also scored 100.

I do wonder if the ball they are using is particularly 'lively' when it is new and is dead later in the innings.

Terrific innings .. get him in the test squad ((:>) .. in contrast England 'hopefuls' Taylor & Hales scored 16 runs between them, that was their 'total' from two innings each ((:<)

When you are at cricket the unexpected always happens when you least expect it.
This is the man that went to the pub to watch a rubbish football match just when Stokes came out to bat. Perfect timing. Sigh.
