Another mistake by Meire not getting Fraeye tied down with a long contract, now that Chelsea come sniffing round after Mastermind.
  • Even though it shouldn't be a surprise, I'm still a bit taken aback by this!
  • Wouldn't be surprised if Ancelotti came in until the end of the season and then swapped jobs with Pep.

Regardless its going to be difficult for whoever comes in because they won't be used to motivating their team involved in a relegation scrap

Terrible time to lose your job, just coming up to Christmas...

Thoughts go out to the Mourinho family through this time.

£20/40 million pay off according to some pundit on TV. Still that's about a fiver to their owner

Let's hope Mourinho, in a classic fit of pique, decides he's going to slum it at some basket case London club just to show he can manage anywhere. Every press conference will involve a snarky comment about how one Morgan Fox is worth ten Azpiliceutas or how the only thing holding Reza back from being as good as Hazard is his excellent manners. Our defence might improve as well which would be nice

RD, this is the chance to make Charlton truly loathed. Sack KF, and get Mourinho in. He's a lamb!!

Always been a big Mourinho fan, but he's been a pain in the arse during this second spell. Tempting to say it proves you should never go back but they strolled the league last year and I doubt anyone anticipated this years collapse. I think he'll bounce back but he may wait for an international job....not much chance of him pitching up in SE7 however.

Never liked him and never understood the adulation. A flat track bully who couldn't take it when things went against him.

With you on that. Up until this season I have enjoyed seeing Mourinho back in England but this season he has been an unconscionable prick.

Interesting views from a senior ex Manager,
Change the top 5 managers with the bottom 5 managers, in the prem
and there would be no difference ?
Have the best players/squad and have some man management skills
and good coaches and it would take some shocking luck not to finish in the top 5.
If your a Man City, Man United or Chelsea.
For Chelsea to be 16th and one point clear of relegation after 16 games really is one of the worst performances of champion's ever.

A Chelsea spokesman has just said that "there was a palpable discord between the manager and players"

They were poor in Pre season and Hazzard started to believe he was already a Messi/Ronaldo and interesting that the player of the year was the person who started the problems in the first match against Swansea and the issues with Doctor Eva Carneiro.

In the football league the skill of a head coach is paramount,
because you often have to make a silk purse out of a pigs ear.

Chelsea are one of the bottom 5. I reckon they would have been doing better with Wenger or Ranieri or Pellegrini.

At least if we had Morecambe and Wise we could save on accomodation and bedding costs for the management team. They could do repartee from the sofa

    Wants to stay in London
    Isn't hard up

    He could actually buy us

As much as he's a dick I'd give my left nipple to see him at Charlton
