Gudmundsson - 8 Our creative spark again. Worked his socks off at both ends of the pitch. I lost count of the times that he and Solly gang tackled a Brentford player to come away with the ball. Another cracking goal scored, and is becoming the new JJ as a scoring midfielder.
Cousins - 7.5 He seems to get stronger as a game goes on. Great drive and determination. Worth 2 men in central midfield. One thing a have noticed is that when he has the ball, he always takes a couple of strides forward. This means that we don't see anywhere near as many sideways or backward passes from Jordan as we have seen from others.
Jackson - 6.5 I would say, in football terms, an average performance. But gets an extra point for that intangible aspect called leadership.
Bulot - 8 Against Birmingham, for 15 minutes looked unplayable on the left wing. Then BP moved him to the right, where he became anonymous. Shows what he can do when given the whole game in his proper position. Great goal too. Not just the finish, but the timing of the run. Also, did his defensive duties, too!
Watt - 8.5 MOTM I'm going with the herd here. Was it an oustanding performance? No. Are there things he can do better? Yes. It would be nice to see him jump for some headers. He is a big lad, and should win more in the air than he does. But shows strength, ball control, and determination. Looks to me like a proper TEAM player. Extra half a point for his reaction to Igor's substitution. Gave Igor a standing ovation as he left the pitch.
Vetokele - 8 Have we got our Igor back? Has looked much more like his old self the last few games. Set up Gudmundsson for the first with an excellent set up. He and Watt looked good buzzing around each other. Scored his 10th goal, and hopefully will go on to score a few more.
Buyens - 5.5 Yes, he overhit a few passes, but at least these passes were FORWARD. Showed good discipline, and defended well. In that moment with TBH I mentioned above, he was quick to drop back into the centre back position to cover.

Watt 9 - MOM didn't score but exactly what we have been crying out for up front. Bullied the Bees defence and got an assist too
Vetokele 9 - gets an extra mark for his goal, back to his best now he has a quality strike partner alongside him
Buyens 7 - can't believe some of the marks given to him. Won a few tackles and broke up play nicely, pinged some nice balls through but also a few wayward ones but getting on his and other player's backs for trying to be creative won't help him either.

Fox - 6: a bit shaky in the first half when he kept getting sucked into the middle but picked up in the second. He hits some very nice long passes but his lack of pace limits his offensive contribution
Johnson - 7: Brentford offered very little (apart from Gray's persistent fouling) but this was a very assured debut
Ben Haim - 7: very sound
Gudmundsson - 7.5: drifted in and out of the game at times but what a class player this guy is. Worked really hard as well in closing opponents down
Cousins - 7: perpetual motion and real drive through the middle
Jackson - 7: was playing very well before he got injured
Bulot - 8: a really fine performance
Watt - 8.5: MOTM - a really positive performance from a player who knows how to connect with the supporters
Vetokele - 7: much better from Igor. Hopefully, his loneliness up top will now be a thing of the past
Buyens - 5: for a quality player, he was nowhere near careful with the ball. We can't afford to give the ball away so cheaply
