  • Hales / Flanagan, I know it's two but... we need them. If not then Hunt / Pringle, they worked well together.
  • Ball winner, Gennaro Gattuso. With him you have a lion in midfield with a never says die attitude

But if you're gonna be greedy and pick a pair, surely Hunt/Mendonca would top Pringle?
  • Pawel Abbott or Akpo Sodje
  • Johnny Johnny Robinson
  • Alex Ferguson.

Yes but before his illness Hunt was on a massive roll and he mentioned his preferred strike partner was Pringle so... the headless one it is.
  • Steve Bull. No nonsense forward that knew this league better than any. Scored for fun for two decades. A good attitude and committed club servant. Just what our club needs more of.
  • Makélélé or Vieira
  • John Robinson

  • Eddie Firmani - by a country mile. Worth the entrance fee on his own - would be an absolute education for anyone we have playing in the front six today - was an absolute master in leading the line and bringing others into play and could score goals.

    yes please what aplayer.
  • Curbs. Then make him manager.
  • Kenny Achampong
  • Duncan Ferguson, Gattuso, Baxter.....surely not a Rangers love-in on this board? Lol
  • Roy Keane - would go mental if players in his team under performed; wanted to win at all costs.
  • Anyone with 2 legs and an ounce of passion. As long as they weren't Belgian.

Oi! I feckin hate Rangers my friend.

But the Gattuso of Milan in mid 00's was one of the best ball winning warriors in the game.

Lev Yashin. Shot stopper, dominated the box, saved 150 penalties. He wouldn't take any crap from his defence, either.
  • Yann in five years time.

  • Unrealistic - Thierry Henry

Realistic - Richard Rufus. Boy could we do with someone like him right now.

    Yep, beat me to it.
  • Claus Jenson. We could do with some creativity.

  • Arthur Horsfield

Proper name, decent bloke, classic centre-forward and has probably never even heard of bloody Belgium.

    Good!
  • Right now, a fist pumping Mark Kinsella in his prime.
  • Ex-Charlton would be Kins, Rufus or Costa.

Others it would have to be Shearer, Gattuso, Vieira or Marcos Senna
  • Shearer is a very good shout. Exactly what we need.
  • Mark kinsella
