I always remember that Bob used to come in to the offices at Bexleyheath first thing when we'd worked all night on the programme and make us toast, although it was obviously nothing to do with his then job. That was nearly 15 years ago now. He was a proper character and well liked. I am very sorry to hear this news.
Heard this last night. Devastated and was going to make sure you were aware Glenn as you were so fond of him following meeting him at the training ground on those days you spent after the auction.
Loved Bob coming round the offices twice a day - such a zest for life, so helpful, went above and beyond his role at the club. Always had stories to tell about people he'd met and had so much time for everyone.
Part of his role was getting the players cars serviced/wheels changed etc at the local garage to sparrows lane and one day my car tyre bust (pot holes in the west stand car park) and he came into the office to tell me my car was laying wonky and he would get it sorted - so on his rounds back to Sparrows lane, he got me a tyre, and brought it back and arranged for some of the facilities staff to teach me how to change the tyre on my car. he wouldn't accept any money and said the garage gave him the tyre for free as he gives them so much business from the players. Will never forget how helpful he was to everyone.
I know he had some young twins (probably early 20s now) so thoughts are with them and the rest of his family and friends. I had no idea he was in hospital, but I'm sure The Valley is a much sadder place for him having not been around recently.
Got to be honest, was unsure who he was, but have seen pretty much every Charlton player I follow on twitter from recent years sending out messages about what a top bloke he was. Seems a character, sad news to lose even more of the Charlton blood from the club. RIP
never commented on a RIP thread before. bob snow was one of the nicest blokes you could meet, always happy always chatty always a pleasure to talk to. Bob Snow you will be sadly missed by all.

A lovely guy, always had a smile on his face when I met him and a great asset to the club.

As others have said, he was a lovely man & always smiling. Not sure how many smiles there will be at SL now that he's passed on...
Sleep tight, Bob.
