Perfect answer, to deflect any, network player questions.
Which is completely the sensible thing to do. He knows he's not exactly universally beloved and why, there is no point giving any of the more rabid/confrontational fans yet another stick to beat him with. Rightly or wrongly regarding how he got it, getting on with the job is the best thing to do frankly.

The more interesting question anyway would have been why Fox played instead of Wiggins!
I originally asked about both but he didn't understand the question so I broke it down and asked about the GK first. After that answer I didn't bother with the Fox/Wiggins question.
That can't be 100% correct though can it, he must have done something and what he did do he done as well as any other keeper we have had this season in goal

Absolutely nothing of note happened in the whole match. Neither goalie had to do much. Picked up the ball a couple of times, kicked it out for a throw-in every 10 minutes or so. These were the highlights.
I have no opinion on whether he is any good or not. This is not a criticism of him, just saying that nothing whatsoever happened in the match to be able to form an opinion on him.
Guy wouldn't answer my question as to why he dropped Etheridge in goal - Bob would have provided an answer to that.
So what did he say ? No comment ? I refuse to answer ? Or did he just ignore the question ?
He said "I don’t like to speak about my players in the media or why I do this or that. This was my decision for this game. I knew Marko would be OK, this was my decision."
So Ben Roberts won't be picking the goalkeeper anymore ?
So the Cafc press day will now be Guy telling everyone to go to Israel on your holidays? he won't talk about the players or why he makes decisions,

I like it. Not mugging off players.
it was a 0-0 ?
Let's see what he says when we lose by a few goals ?
If everyone gives the team, who ever is picked, 100% for the 90 mins then come on CL or (other social media outlets are available) then that's fine.
Must say at Watford thou, the only thing that got me angry was when Chris solly led some of the players over, and some were shouting for them to fxck off. Couldn't have Solly bad mouthed, and turned around and started clapping him and the players. i was not the only one.
Out of the 1000 odd CAFC games i've seen, that was in the top 10 shockers,
but that's history now.
Guy Luzon Let your teams good football do your talking,
To everyone else that doesn't get NLA's point that I share
WHY NOT GIVE LUZON AND HIS/ROLAND'S TEAM A CHANCE?
Never said I wouldn't give the keeper or Luzon a chance. Even the FLS highlights showed that nothing happened in the match. The best save by a Charlton player was Bikey's headed clearance a few feet away from the goal line.

Good clearance that but the keeper seemed to have it covered anyway.

How did the goalie do???
Same as the Wolves goalie
GL gets slated for not doing so, seems fair....

...without dropping them I may add!

Don't be a minute late you might miss it.
It's obvious that rd told him to change keepers
