  • I am very impressed with the system, the style of play, the effort and the quality, we are calm and relaxed confident more possession and shots than I have seen in ages

The coq is very good on the ball
  • According to the stats on whoscored.com:

    Top 5 Players

1 Bartosz Bialkowski (GK) Ipswich 7.6
2 Tommy Smith (DC) Ipswich 7.2
3 Nick Pope (GK) Charlton 7.2
4 Luke Chambers (DC) Ipswich 7.0
5 Tyrone Mings (DL) Ipswich 7.0

We usually crumble in the first few minutes after the break - especially when we are looking the better team. We then chase the game for a 1-1. Though I'm still going for 0-5.

I refuse to be optimistic just because we are playing well.

No idea but they say our best outfield player is Coquelin at 6.6. Harriott at 6.5.

Igor ranks lowest across both teams on 6.1
  • Second half underway, COYR!
  • Oh dear, we seem to be beating them up.
  • Mings cracks a shot on goal... just wide, probably should have hit the target and put Ipswich 1-0 up.
  • Jesus - hard for Pope with the sun low and in his eyes.

Igor dallies on the ball when clean through, waiting for it to bounce right. Defender comes across and takes the ball away.

  • Igor isn't anywhere near fit
  • "You can't predict some of these jumping radiuses" great commentary
  • Ipswich growing into the game, we need to get a grip of the game again here. Almost an hour played.
  • Igor wins a corner, come on!!!

Comms say we're unbeaten in 2014???
  • Harriott whips the corner out before it comes back in... goal kick.
  • Good cross from Solly almost puts it on a plate for Igor but Chambers is strong and heads away.
  • What a dreadful touch from Igor. Jesus
  • Harriott feeds Igor who is 1 on 1 if his first touch is better. He fluffs it though.
  • Poor from Igor
  • Just can't put anything away.

  • Now Jacko almost clean through... so close but we can't break clear.

Igor isn't ready for a full 90 is he really? Frustrating, as that's two times he's been in a good position but hasn't managed anything.

Very annoying as we're now beginning to fall back a little, and lose our dominance.
  • Murphy wriggles free and almost curls the ball into the net but just past the post... corner to Ipswich, deflected.
  • Who thinks well pay here?

    My hands up!!
  • Igor wins a corner, come on!!!

They're getting us mixed up with Huddersfield.
  • Oh for crying out loud.

Harriott puts Johann in on goal but he wants to cut in on his left instead of hitting it with his right and the chance is gone. Cousins follows up with a shot over the bar, shades of his goal against Wigan............................. except not as good.
  • Picked up again now
  • Superb run from Harriott leading to that chance.

Also, I've discovered a new word from this commentary - "Speedster".
  • So frustrating to watch, doing everything but score.
Would like to see KAG on for JJ.
