OK, so from the PMT thread, and various other comments, it sounds like we're all incredibly nervous about
tomorrowtoday. It's a must win game, a six-pointer, will decide the course of our season etc etc etc. It's being built up so much no wonder a lot of us are bricking it. The trouble is, if the players are bricking it as well, then they're not going to play well. If they concede an early goal and we get on their backs, there's no way we're going to win. If we expect them to fail, they will.
So,
tomorrowtoday is a time to put all rationality aside, and remember, we're not customers, we're not fans, we're supporters. We need to believe that every player that pulls on a red shirt is a hero, any past failings are forgotten, and that no matter what the score may be at any stage in the match, we will win as long as we keep supporting them.
Relegation is not an option.
We
are by far the greatest team the world has ever seen.
Scott Carson will save anything that comes his way.
Luke Young will be a rock at the back and a threat going forward.
Talal El Karkouri will incapacitate at least one of the opposition with one of his freekicks and not go into headless chicken mode.
The gloves will come off and Souleyman Diawara will remind Richard Murray of his true worth.
Ben Thatcher will scare the life out of anyone that comes near him but not get booked.
Jerome Thomas will remember both his shooting boots and his crossing boots.
Matt Holland will be tireless in midfield, tackling, harrying and creating opportunities for his teammates.
Alexandre Song will produce more of those killer passes from the second half at Vicarage Road.
Denis Rommedahl will keep on running until he scores a goal or someone stupidly brings him down.
Zheng Zhi will pop up everywhere in midfield and up front, and stick home another rebound.
Darren Bent will make a miraculous recovery from injury, and demonstrate his class once again.
Kevin Lisbie will come on as sub, and regain his Liverpool goal machine form
Darren Ambrose will score directly from one corner, and create a goal from another.
JFH, Bryan Hughes, Amdy Faye, Herman Hreidarsson or Madjid Bougherra will make a vital contribution coming on from the subs bench.
This will be the game that redoubles our momentum, and sets us up for a successful trip to Ewood Park, and then on to safety on Bank Holiday Monday.

(and yes, I am well aware of the fact huge chunks of this is utterly unrealistic, but that's not the point. Go on, try it. You'll enjoy the game much more if you're not worrying about how it's all going to go horribly wrong.)

And just to help out a bit more here's a short prayer for some divine assistance ( in off the post etc)
