Apparently he's fine.

I thought we'd signed him when I saw the thread. Neil etheridge signing has eased my disappointment.2

A case where 'legend' is totally appropriate as a sobriquet .. get well soon1
-
Been moved to end of life care1

Wow... Swear I only saw something this morning saying he was doing well0

The greatest. No debate.
Name a footballer? Pele.2 -
The first footballer I noticed who played that different, other worldly game and worthy of divine status with all football lovers. Along with those departed souls Cruyff and Maradona, sheer genius.
It doesn't sound too good for him but let's hope he might be spared a while longer to enjoy The Beautiful Game.1 -

No doubt an absolute legend and very sad to hear of his poor health.
Not the greatest for me, but that’s for another time.1 - Sponsored links:

I think regardless of whether he's 'the greatest'.
He's 100% regarded as the first major great of the game.3 -
Not only a footballing super star but a highly thought of gentleman, who the likes of Maradona couldn’t hold a candle to.8

……….. and never had to resort to cheating to get a result……… for our generation he will always be the greatest.7
-
Sad news. Always comes across as a likeable bloke. In reality, no one can really say he was the greatest as the only exposure to the wider world would have been from the world cups. But as mentioned above, probably the first major great of the game.0

it’s ironic that Pelé is going through this as a World Cup is in process. It’s almost as if the World Cup competition is serenading Pelé in the twilight of his life. (I didn’t want to say his life is ending but it very well could be).
The 1958 World Cup has always been synonymous with the football genius of Pelé.3 -
i'm sure he will get it up0

err i mean get up0

And so to my premonition dream last night.
A young resurgent England go all the way to the WC final where they meet a talented Brazil side in the final who are fired up to levels unseen since the seventies due to the passing of the Great man the day before the final .
And duely wipe the floor with us!2 -
