Ipswich away match ticket price

Have just been on their website as curious to what they will charge us this year.

They have made us a grade b game at £32.50 for tickets in advance, on the day it becomes £35.

I realise that Brighton were criticised for their prices but given the travel they offered you I thought £32 was okay.

However, Ipswich midweek I do not think will produce much of a following from us at these prices.

  • I think it was £32 last time I went (was it two seasons ago that we won 2-1?), so not much of an increase. I wouldn't go again, not because of the price, but because it's a crap ground with horrible seats and not much atmosphere, because you're all along the side.
  • Price too high. That's all.

That's what really get's me - I don't know how they (or Leeds) can justify in excess of £30 for their tickets. At least Brighton and Norwich have invested in their stadiums.
  • Will still be going as the train for me is only £7 return so cant really complain.
  • Wasn't it £37 last season?
  • You make your own atmosphere at away games, sod the home fans. What does it matter if they are loud or not? I like Ipswich and have had some of my best away days there.

    FA Cup 5th Round 1980-81
    Play Off Semi- 1986-87
    4.4 draw- 1990-91
5.1 away win- 1995-96 Leaburn Hat trick

1.0 away win- Lisbie 87th minute
2.1 away win- Jackson and Fuller

It's more expensive because it's along the side, by sticking us there they can get away with charging more than the home fans in the end stands
  • I think you should look at ALL their prices. I believe they're the only team in the Championship that have some season tickets at over a grand...
  • I love it there, but won't go until they make the prices more sensible.

  • This game falls on my birthday and I really want to go to this, struggling to find anyone who'd fancy it out my friends and those prices are stupid.. Might just break the bank and drag the old man along
