I saw Bob's face

...now I'm a believer!

After yesterday's result, having only lost two games all season, I believe we can make a push for promotion right now. Massive kudos to BP, the backroom staff and the players.

Assuming we can only afford two quality players that could take us to the next level, which positions would you improve, and who would you buy?

Would you go for rich, talented PL players that aren't getting game time, or would you invest in players that are shining at a lower level, and hungry to step up?

  • Let's see how we get on against the spanners before getting carried away.
  • Depends who the player is.

You don't want someone from a lower league that can't make the grade...

And also don't want someone with the motivation of a slug that has to cross the M25.

Good proven champiosnship players Is what you want...but if they can't be found, there's always the network!
  • I genuinely believe if we can sign another quality striker to either work with Igor or take some pressure off of him, and a creative/goal scoring midfielder we will have a team capable of pushing for the playoffs comfortably.
  • When I saw the title I thought it was going to say in a pattern in a bowl of porridge.
  • Maybe we go shopping in the west European Leagues again ....... Dutch, Danish and Belgian, for example?

Advantage is players have a grasp of English, climate and better able to adjust.

    lol good
  • Was it his war face or his cum face?
  • The time added on was a joke yesterday.

Where that ref got six minutes from only he knows. However Big Bob stood himself in front of the fourth official, sleeve rolled up and watch showing!

Agreed Len and for once we weren't running the clock down as much as we have done in other games. It's not yesterday in isolation that grates with me though it's the ridiculous 2 or 3 minutes only that were added on at Bournemouth when the ball was getting lumped out of the ground late on. It's the lack of consistency that does my head in.

I don't think there's any doubt that if we shop it'll be abroad, better quality for your money. How much would Igor have cost if bought from a club over here ?
