Some interesting debate on TV last night.
Wales seems to have almost given up on economic independence and just bleats on about not having enough funding for the NHS even though more Welsh people receive treatment in England than in Wales.
Should London operate more independently with the 25% of UK GDP it creates.
Should other major cities / regions be able to have control over the wealth they create - even though it would largely not be enough to fund what they need or want to do?
Anyway, I thought it was interesting......
