“We started well first half. We didn’t create a lot of chances but we were in control of the game. They didn’t have one single chance first half except some set-pieces. Second half I think, again, we started well. We still had a few substitutes, like Francis Coquelin, so we knew at a certain stage they would get tired and we had some quality to bring on. At that moment we were in control of the game, but then the first shot they had on target was in the top corner."
“We fought back and scored to make it 1-1 and again we controlled the game. Then a similar goal, top corner, and it was two shots on goal, two goals. The penalty incident I didn’t see it - I was busy because Rhoys Wiggins was struggling with his toe so we needed to take him off. We scored to make it 2-2 and had 10 men because we had already used our three subs. That was the situation at the end. We needed to dig deep and you have to be happy with the point you take away.”
"Every game is a tough game in this division, but they never let me down. Even against Fulham, where we lost 3-0, in the second half they fought for what they were worth. Last week again, with the first shot on goal we conceded and then second half they fought back and maybe played their best half of the season.
Before we were always leading and we conceded goals, now we’ve fought a few times back from one goal behind so I must be happy with the effort we put in and we go onto the next game.”
“I think he (Coquelin) showed a bit of quality. We brought him on because Jordan Cousiins and Yoni Buyens had a yellow card and I was worried they would get a second yellow and leave us with 10 men. In the end we were left with 10 men without even getting a second yellow! I think Coquelin showed that he is a good player and his work ethic is very good. That’s very important and he can only grow once he gets to know the boys and the system we want to play.”
"At the end we played 15 minutes with 10 men. Mentally I think it’s a good point but we’ll see next week. Hopefully the injury to Rhoys Wiggins isn’t too bad because we were just getting back to full strength and then we lose another player. It’s a contact injury that you can’t do anything about it and now the boys will have some rest and we will go to Reading on Saturday."

it's true though....
Unless you've seen the angle behind the goal or shot, how can you really tell if they should have been saved??
The bigger concern is why he wasn't closed down quicker, especially the second goal just twenty minutes after the same player curled one in when allowed time to get away his shot.
Henderson has done well since he's joined, I like him.
Originally I thought there may have been a deflection because Henderson seemed wrong footed, but there is no evidence of one, so perhaps he slipped and couldn't get across.
