Was having some banter with the Chef Wendy physio.....

About midnight Friday night in the Prince Albert opposite the Marriott. In my very drunken state, I told him tomorrow (today) was all about if Vetokele plays. If he doesn't then I can't see us scoring, but if he plays then 'you're in trouble'. He laughed, patted me on the shoulder and said 'don't you worry pal, we've got a plan for him'.

Great plan pal !!!

If he really was Chef Weds, are you sure he didn't say " We've got a flan for him " ?

He thought it would be a pizza cake presumably?
  • Used to be a nice pub......
  • Still is. Though if it weren't for our crowd and the Wednesday staff, it would have been empty.
  • The removal of the pots and pans and re-fit have left it soulless in my opinion. Another traditional pub gone. Firms like Shepherd Neame and Youngs are doing this all over London. Maybe the "Focus Groups" have told them that this is what people want. Maybe the under 40's do, but there are a lot of 40+'s about these days. Surely there are enough modern bars in Bexleyheath already?
  • Has all the brass and copper gone ?
  • Sponsored links:

  • Yes, all very plain and neutral now
  • Mixing with the enemy ;)
  • They had some lovely looking cheese in that display fridge :-)
