Big drop down in quality from last night's Spanish game, but will be watching Alcorcón take on a relatively big team on TV tonight (remember Nayim's lob over Seaman in the 1995 cup winner's cup?).

    Sevilla v Villarreal & Getafe v Atletico are the games live on Sky tonight - after the 400th repeat of the Clasico of course !

    Alcorcón were 13th at the start of the day after a few games were played yesterday. A few more before they kick off and a couple of late games, so a win could take them up to around 9th if other results go their way.

    It is on terrestial TV here. The regular channels show a lot of second division matches with the La Liga games all on Canal Plus.

    Wins for both Sevilla and Atlético tonight will make it really tight at the top of La Liga, with Valencia up there as well with Real and Barcelona. Atlético's win last year was just what the league needed after too many years of the duopoly. Hopefully Valencia and Sevilla can follow that this year.

    Lost 3-1 at home. Early season decent form seems to have slipped away and a couple more results like this could see Alcorcón slip into the relagation zone, where four teams go down.
