Don't know whether this lot will be able to help or not. The main guy behind it sadly passed away last year but you never know.0 -

They should be able to assist. The chap to speak to is Graham Sadler. IF you don't get anywhere send me a PM as I have another possible way to get it.tottemhamjay said:Cheers Len ill give them a ring!

Not sure if it's anything to do with him personally, or if anyone that runs the page knows him, but this is on Facebook

I'm pretty sure Martin made his debut for Charlton against Norwich in a Friday night friendly at a freezing Valley on 17th February 1978. The programme was a single sheet, black type on yellow background which I still have and I believe is quite rare these days. Crowd was a miserly 2,082.
His league debut was away against Bristol Rovers on 25th February. Martin scored in a 2-2 draw.0 -

works in the City as I've seen him a couple of times. Don't know where though but if you hang around the Bank interchange long enough you may bump into him.2

2,082 isn't bad for a freezing Friday night friendly in February. Wonder why a friendly was being played?mistrollingin said:I'm pretty sure Martin made his debut for Charlton against Norwich in a Friday night friendly at a freezing Valley on 17th February 1978. Three favourite Martin Robinson goals;
1) Home to Ipswich Town in 1983 FA Cup at The Valley...great start to a truly great game.
2) Longish range shot on the run away to Grimsby in 1983...put us 1-0 up...then Mountford gobbed at Nigel Batch, got sent off and we lost 1-2.
3) Late goal v Grimsby at The Valley in 84...the game to celebrate our survival from receivership....put us 3-2 up...euphoria!!! Then Grimsby equalised and we all went home.0 -

We'd both been knocked out of the FA Cup. Us by Notts County.0 -

Was working as a chef in the city when I met him on the tube some years back. Think he told me that he lived out in Laindon or somewhere like that.0

Remember seeing Martin Robinson turning up on club car park in a Capri. When you're a kid that's what dreams are made of.
Powell Hales Flanagan and Robinson.
What a strike force.0 -
As a spurs fan i get a better feeling meeting the old players then watching spurs play at the moment

Will you just leave me alone. I don't want to help you with your project, I've told you before. I might have played for Tottenham but it doesn't mean I like you.3

He scored a couple of good goals away at Bristol Rovers in the 5.5 draw as well.Simonsen said:

Remember a great lob over the keeper from the edge of the box in a 4.1 win over Newcastle at the Valley
and a cracker away at Newcastle too in the 5.3 defeat I think.
Am sure he scored away at Sheffield Wednesday in a 1.1 draw, 81-82 season.
I used to like Robbo, we had an exciting forward line back then and he was an important part of it!

I talked to Martin in Crossbars last season after the Ipswich match so he is around somewhere. He was a friendly guy.0

Didn't he score two at home to Oldham in the last game of the season to save us from relegation one year?0
