The coverage, with all the buffering, reminds me of those days 25 years ago, when you had to stand on the toilet seat, holding your radio out of the window, to hear Charlton Live on Sunday nights.

Still playing. Now HT. Few scouts and managers in the directors box. Graham Westley, Neil Harris, Richard Money, Tim Breacker, Ian Pearce, Chris Kimoyma.
Terrell Thomes looks really good defensively, but also great distribution and passing out of defence. The full backs pyke and Holmes-Dennis also look good
if anyone from the cafc communications team reads this:
Well done, when you next do this can you put up ateam sheet on the club website as it helps follow the game especially when, like me, I have a slow connection and the commentary isn't always clear.
There was quite a bit of buffering at the start of the 1st & 2nd halves as new viewers joined but it settled down later. Holmes-Dennis, Cumberbatch and Thomas were impressive and Pope looked solid in goal.
Just got back from the Valley. A good display from the Yoof. Stand out players for me were all the back five and Cumberbatch in midfield. I haven't been impressed by Ansah and am still not impressed. He couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo. A Trialist didn't get on, any ideas who he is?
Watched it live - no buffering for me! Good game, defence v. solid. I've seen Muldoon play several games now and he's failed to impress me in any of them. Something has been bothering me about Terell Thomas and I couldn't work out what it was - today it suddenly came to me - it's the way he walks - he's a dead ringer for Jar Jar Binks - the Star Wars character.

Apart from Lennon last season and Pope none of the 1st team squad involved this aftrnoon at a damp Valley.
Thought Thomas was outstanding, read the game well, good in the air, well timed interceptions and tackles, comfortable on the ball and had a hand in the 2nd goal. Disappointed not to get another look at Ayo today who was on the bench but Lennon acquitted himself well until the latter stages when he tired in the wet conditions on which note the pitch stood up well. Pope was assured between the sticks. Full backs did ok, Ansah was a bit better than at Welling the other night but not sure he will make it with us.
Not sure the midfield offers any threat to the present first team incumbents either. Liked the look of Daniel who took his goal well.
Katrien was also in the directors' box for most of the first half probably taking a late lunch break as she never seemed to reappear after half time.
Some very good displays by the lads today, especially Munns, and Thomas, and Pope did well in what was conditions that were very slippery I would imagine, although the pitch looked excellent. After a very poor start Muldoon did get his act together, and really until the 75th minute CAFC were the better team by far. Ansah got booked for a very clumsy tackle, which I think was more out of frustration with his performance. Daniel looks very promising as well, took his goal well. Some excellent football and some nice passing. Impressed with the work rate of some of the player's. A good performance for me.

Was at The Valley as well. Played the same way as the 1st team and some very skilful players. Especially liked the look of our left winger Rhys Browne and Levander Pyke at right back. Lennon and Pope stood out with their experience at the higher level showing. Team looked a little lightweight physically apart from Lennon, Muldoon, Thomas and Joshua Umerah when he came on as a sub.
Sheff U were more direct and had several half chances but Pope was confident and safe unlike his opposite number.
Just like the 1st team built on a strong back 5, plus no clinical finishing from oppo's. Holmes-Dennis and Pyke both full backs like to bomb forward and at 18 look good prospects. Thomas and lennon, both decent, Thomas look smoother on the ball. Pope was full of confidence today and never looked like being beaten. Muldoon got better after losing a couple of early balls, Munns gives it his all and nearly scored. Cumberbatch did some great runs and passes 2nd half. Not sure on Daniel, thou was better than the last time i saw him. Ansah and Browne did not create much, but put in a shift.
As a team they were very solid , and the 17 year old Umerah came on and he is another big unit.
The big valley pitch should help their development, and they will all feel knackered tonight, after playing in those conditions.

Some promising players there indeed.
Liked the look of the Sheff U number 11 Otis Khan
Yeah, thought he was their stand out player.
Regarding the pitch - last year that game would not have gone ahead. This year, despite huge quantities of rain, it didn't really look like it had been played on at all after the game. Quite amazing. The synchronised lawn-mowing team were straight on it after the match finished.
Strange move that Henners especially as he was a trialst for us on the bench on Monday. Presumably he never cut it in training but being a Bromley based man, do you have the inside track on this?

So has dropped two divisions. Bromley are ambitious and spending money ("football league in five years") but Goldberg is a poor manager.
