Bulot

  • Better than Harriott
  • Gives off the impression he has something about him, good early signs, but the key word is 'early'.

Will get better with more games at this level.
  • Need to see more of him, but looks better than most wingers in recent years, Green, Harriott, Kerkar etc.

Not convinced about him playing off the striker. Would like to see him get more time playing down the left, though Moussa looks like he could also do well there.
  • Great cross for the goal.

But let's be honest, he was incredibly frustrating after that...
  • wasn't at the game but sounds like he had a spliffy at half time
  • I should imagine he's struggling to cope with two games a week. Overall I like him and the cross yesterday was exceptional (there wasn't a great deal of room and he bent it round brilliantly). Agree with the view that his most effective position appears to be out wide but I also think he'll chip in with some goals at some point.
  • Can't make my mind up about him yet. Didn't think he was too great yesterday and wish he'd take his man sometimes. I don't think he's full fit yet to be fair to him.
  • Haven't watched him in person yet but the cross he delivered to Igor was very good. I don't think anyone else in the squad is capable of them kind of crosses, maybe JBG.

Upgrade from what we had and I might be wrong in saying this but hasn't he nearly won us 6 points from other games but been denied by goal line clearances and hitting the post?

No doubt he'd be a hero already to some if those would have gone in. I'd say he needs more games to be settled in, then i'll think we'll see some player. Can't expect all new signings to settle in like JBG and Igor.

I thought he was slow and had a poor touch against Middlesborough. I didn't think he was much better yesterday. He did put over a great cross but I was disappointed with the rest of his game.

Having said that the Championship is probably faster and more intense than what he is used to and, in time, he might well make the step up.

If he doesn't get used to the league by the end of November I'll probably have seen enough of him but, for now, I'm happy to give him game time as I have faith in Bob and think he'll come good.
  • BP said he is covering twice as much ground as he did with SL, obviously got to get used to English football, give him time, has not played many full games this season

  • The physio said in the programme that he's not fully fit yet.
  • 2.5 games, he should have scored at least 3 and set up 6 by now surely.
Everybody knows the Top two English Leagues are the easiest to settle into and pick the pace up straight away.

Overhyped, send him back and get Pritchard back ASAP or we will be doomed.
  • KHA Bulot slow? As in JJ slow, or Clean shorts or Fish? I'd guess he is in top 5 quickest in squad.

Considering he's new to the league and not even at 100% fitness yet I'd say he's done very well. Set up one goal, could quite easily have scored two himself and looks pretty bright on the pitch. Bulot on one side and JBG on the other (backed up by Solly and Wiggins) and Igor will be right up there with the league top scorers all season.
  • Talking to a Brummy mate after the game, he thought Bulot looked quality and our most dangerous player. I thought he was ok, had his moments, interesting to get the away perspective.
  • Does anyone else think that Bulot is just another Marvin Sordell? Overrated

    Lol omg your way wrong!!!

Uie2 count to 10. and relax.

Like me, i'm still getting over Ivor being called lazy !
I was not expecting much, maybe after last season with the network boys.

Bulot is still finding his feet, good cross for goal, went pass his man on a couple of occasions, was crudely chopped down. He did waste some crosses,

The demands of champ football is so much greater than where he's come from.

unless we buy players from the champ already, (wages issue again)

What do some of you CL expect.

KHA Bulot slow? As in JJ slow, or Clean shorts or Fish? I'd guess he is in top 5 quickest in squad.

Slow in his movement, not his running speed. He seems to be waiting for the ball to come to him when someone nips in and takes if off him. He also seems to hold the ball too long.

I know the Championship is more frenetic than other leagues so I accept it might be about him getting used to it but he doesn't start moving quick enough.
  • Bulot is much better than Sordell and looks promising , has talent and needs time. I am glad he is here.

  • The really good players like Robert Lee, Jensen, Powell and dare I say it Poyet always seem to have time to deliver an accurate pass. Yann was almost in that class and Solly is knocking on the door. Sordell, Harriet, Green, would lose the ball more often than not. Too early to suss Bulot but I think he is promising.
