When it first started it was pretty good at having snippets of real news from the training ground, but then they realised that journos had signed up for it, so that stopped. For me the heyday was the reporting on the players' table tennis tournament...
[cite]Posted By: The bulletin[/cite]A Reading fan has been in touch with the Bulletin to pass on his praise to
the club following his visit to The Valley on Easter Monday.
"I thought we were well treated by your stewards and the atmosphere was
fantastic," wrote Peter Jones.
"I've got to compliment your fans on the way they got behind their team.
This season I've been to Old Trafford twice and St James' Park, and The
Valley was miles better in terms of the sustained noise generated."
He added: "Charlton also deserve praise for their enlightened pricing policy
and the way they help their fans with subsidised transport. You're a model
for the rest of the Premier League.
"My 19-year-old student son got in for £13 for a (slightly) restricted view
seat, when he's had to pay well over £30 for most away games this season.
"I hope you stay up - Charlton are a well-run club with a decent team, a
fine stadium and good supporters."
I've just got back from lunch (hic!) and there were three separate "copies" of what I can only assume was yesterdays bulletin sitting there in my inbox waiting for me.
If they can't handle such technical "wizzardry" as email then I don't think they should bother. It's nearly always full of complete garbage these days anyway!
