Still bloody drew with Tranmere Rovers even back then!!

First thing I did was look to see who was 8th @ that point.

It was Stockport County ; who went on to finish 17th (8 points clear of the relegation zone). Funnily enough, I can see us finishing around there, which wouldn't be a disaster.

West Brom were 9th and had a similar kind of unbeaten record to us, with lots of draws. They escaped relegation by the skin of their teeth with a 21st place finish.

Provided we slowly fall back and end up in 17th rather than tumbling and having another end-of-season like last year
