Refs are largely judged on the key decisions. Today there were two penalty-related decisions. Our penalty was a clear one (later supported by tv replays) and the lack of complaint by Watford. Yellow card was correct in that Igor pushed the ball past the outstretched hand/arm of the keeper and Igor's momentum clashed with that outstretched hand/arm. The keeper did not grab Igor's foot, which had he done so, could have been deemed as deliberately stopping a goal scoring opportunity.
The clash of Deeney and TBH was nothing more than the coming together of two players - another correct decision in my view.
The ref then cautioned three Watford players correctly for pulling back Igor. None worthy to be classed as "Violent Conduct" or "Serious Foul Play".
The ref correctly booked Cousins for excessive dissent (ie both verbal and gesticulation).
