Would be a shame to see him go. He's 3rd choice atm and we've barely started the season yet so I can see him getting back into the team (especially considering that TBH is nearing the end of his career). Thought he was one of our best over the past few years.

I agree, it would be awfully short sighted of the club to let him go.
Hopefully he keeps his head down and gets on with trying to break into the team, waiting for his moment but i can understand why he might be frustrated as it seems like he has played 95% of Charlton games since he signed for us until this season.
Ben Haim and Bikey are the first choice on merit not reputation, te places are theirs to lose... but that is always the way. I would like to think Morro is smart enough to realise time is on his side here - in this league I can't see either of the current CBs not spending time out with injury or suspension and he'll have a chance to stake a claim. I understand his frustration but he needs to take a step back and consider before he leaves rashly.
He's not in the team for a reason. Like anybody else who isn't, he needs to roll his sleeves up and when his chance comes its down to him to keep his place. I'm sure TBH or Bikey will pick up the odd red card at some point.
This is when you find out if a player is really charlton or not. Sounds little cringey and unrealistic...but is morro a team player...happy about our bright start and will do the job when called upon, or, just because he has not started the 1st 5 games, hes gana throw his toys out the pram and tell himself footballs too much or a short career he needs a transfer for 100% sureness of 1st team action.
Hope its not the latter. Hes a really good CB. I hope he stays.

I could understand his frustrations...but, still, he should just get on with it. Fight for his place back like a professional.

No one should have an automatic right to play in the first team, even if you've been a shoe in for the last few seasons.
Morro has got the heart of a lion and his time will come again, get your nut down Michael.
