I must admit, I had no idea she was only 30 (although she looks younger, I assumed she was older).
An old head on young shoulders. I wouldn't be surprised to see her on the board of a large corporate in the future.
Cracking way to get in to football. Offering your services as a lawyer, trained in competition & regulatory law, just as your own club could do with someone like that.
Love that she's a football fan and has a sensible head on her. I've never wanted us to blow the budget and end up like Portsmouth (soon to be joined by QPR hopefully). Good steady growth, affordable investment and an emphasis on bringing our own through is absolutely fine. Might take a little longer, but always more sustainable!
'Coming from Belgium, she says it was a surprise to encounter the all-powerful British football manager, who not only picks the team but also buys the players, something unknown on mainland Europe.'
Having installed countryman Bob Peeters as head coach in May 2014, she and Mr Duchatelet now look for suitable players, with the coach getting "an input".
As long as they keep signing quality players like they have this summer then I guess I can't complain.

I don't know how much say Big Bob actually has, but I presume it's the way he has operated before and is used to - and as you say it seems to be working so far so no complaints from me!
There's a rumour that we are pursuing a Yeovil player but the customary secrecy means that he is being referred to around Sparrows Lane as Lady Duchatelet's Glover ....
