Scanell was linked heavily with Millwall on deadline day but Powell wanted him to stay
he also gave the thumbs up for the Hudson move

Hudson captained Cardiff as they got promoted to the Premier League, which proves his ability at this level. While the season he was with us was disastrous, it's not mainly his fault.

Yep. Hudson wasn't amazing but acidic would have looked awful at the heart of that defence.

Hmm, that's not always the full story though. Gary Doherty took Norwich up out of League One, then signed for us right after in the same league and was a total liability. The fact Cardiff have let him go is a bad sign
